Our goal
The goal of the content on this website is to provide clear and reliable information about endocrine conditions – diabetes, thyroid disorders and other hormonal disorders.
Authorship and review
Articles, condition descriptions and answers to questions are prepared on the basis of endocrinologist Samir Shukurov’s own writing and talks, and are reviewed by him before publication.
Sources
In preparing content, priority is given to the recommendations of international endocrinology and diabetes societies, as well as the current standards of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Figures that differ between sources (for example, statistics) are included in the text only after they have been verified.
Updates
Medical recommendations may change over time. Content is reviewed regularly, and outdated information is updated or removed from the website.
Independence
The website carries no advertising, and its content is not commissioned by pharmaceutical manufacturers or other commercial parties. Mentioning medicine names in the texts is not advertising.
